Okay, the leak is fixed. And I got the new bedroom a/c unit installed today (there was some kind of fault in the machine itself, not the house wiring) and the bedroom is cooling off now :)

Tomorrow the a/c specific guys from the electrical/plumbing company I called are coming to check out the house unit. Hopefully a cheap fix.

Well, the funeral went well - service was quick and the graveside stuff even quicker. Little to no seen drama - behind the scenes didn't matter to me :) Beloved spoiled niece went with, as did the friend who was spending the night with her. Oh, yeah! I forgot to report this - annoying cousin is homeless again - not sure she even made it a full month in the new place. Her cat is with someone else - I said no. Life is... ongoing :) Tripped over the *one* piece of carpeting in the house on Thursday,
so my right knee is a bit messed up again. I've sold several zines, so I'm happy about that.
And I'm going to the beach with a friend/former coworker from NC this weekend. And the kitties
are rambunctiously gamboling through the house :)
